New single “Nothing Perfect” sees nimino incorporate elements from the emerging emotional dance music, utilising expansive synth progressions, skittering beat and dulcet vocals to add further range and gravity to his ever-evolving sound. Speaking on the single, nimino says, “My friend was ghosted by a girl he liked, but a couple months later she made her way back into his life and said “are you alone, cos it’s nothing perfect, but I’d settle for you”. I feel like it speaks a lot to modern dating and the fact that people can even struggle with their own standards.”
“Nothing Perfect” is out now on Counter Records, with more music to come soon.
