“I first started Too Far back in 2018.” obli says about “Too Far”. “I’ve always been proud of this track and I’m truly excited to finally have it out. The song represents things in life feeling like ’too much’ or that they have ‘gone too far’. I think that’s something that everyone feels from time to time no matter what is going on in their life.”
Co-signed by ODESZA and releasing under their label Foreign Family Collective, obli enters the electronic scene with fresh momentum and new ideas. His previous single “hei” (pronounced "hi") released in late March of this year garnered support from some of the world's top tastemakers, including Zane Lowe (Apple Music), Sian Eleri (BBC Radio 1), Jenny Greene (RTE2 Music), Zan Rowe (Double J) and Jason Bentley (KCRW).
Working out of his home studio in Los Angeles, obli is charting a multi-dimensional vision forward. With debut live dates coming this summer and more music on the horizon, 2022 is set to be an exciting and defining year for obli.
